About
The Scapegoat That Grew Wings
Afrophilia-X is the creative universe of Patrick Chuka — Nigerian-American visual artist, born Lagos, 2000.
The Story
At 17, Patrick left Nigeria with nothing but a sketchbook and determination. What followed was years of survival — hunger, exploitation, loneliness — and the slow transformation of pain into art.
Afrophilia-X: The Scapegoat That Grew Wings is the semi-autobiographical novel that emerged from that journey. Part memoir, part mythology, it follows Ochuko, a young Igbo artist navigating identity, isolation, and spiritual awakening in America.
The Collection
Everything in this store exists as an extension of the story. The hoodie Ochuko wore when he walked out. The bag that held everything that mattered. The hat he grabbed before boarding.
These aren't products. They're chapters you can wear.
